Viewfinder is a docu-drama that tells the story of an independent
filmmaker making his first documentary. While searching
for a major subject for his film, he meets many
individuals along the way. He soon discovers that
the very subject of his film is himself.

fullest and become an ultimate fighter like he's seen on television.
With the help of some best friends, they will help train him to beat
the neighborhood bully FEDEREEK, who is trying to take the woman of his
dreams to a vacation away from their home in the suburbs of Virginia.

hardcore Black woman hitman. The film will
be shot on true High Definition.
WHEN THE DOOR KNOCKS (In Development)
A dark comedy split into two separate stories where a struggling actor
and a conniving travel agent, both unhappy with the way their lives are
going, decide to meet a stranger who offers them what they want in
life for the price of their souls.

LOST AND FOUND: A College Story (2007)
Checkmate Studios' third short film, produced by Howard University
Counseling Services, focuses on the lives of three students who all
experience problems within their first months in college.
Lost and Found: a College Story, stars: Ciera Payton,
Niketa Calame, and Oliver Webb.
THE BALLAD OF EBONY TYSON: Quincy's Revenge (2007)
Based on characters created by Denton Adams, Checkmate Studios
presents a short film with a dramatic and stylistic look at the
African-American Hitwoman, Ebony Tyson, in action. The film stars
Celeste Jacobs as the infamous executioner, Renaldy Smith,
Tony Mills, Daniel Sebille, and Kemper Sease.
